Thomas J. Klinedinst, Jr. after graduating from Georgetown University began his insurance career in 1965 as a surety bond underwriter. In 1967 Tom joined a Cincinnati agency, Thomas E. Wood, Inc. During his career, Mr. Klinedinst became President, Chairman and CEO, and the agency grew to become one of the largest regional agencies in Tri State area.

Tom is a past President of the Cincinnati Insurance Board, a Director of the National Association of Casualty and Surety Agents, and President of Ohio CAP Insurance Co. Ltd., a Bermuda based reinsurance company. He also served as a National Consultant to Airport Operators Council International for 15 years.

In 2000, he retired from the brokerage business and acquired the Louis A. Hellming Company, a risk management and insurance consulting firm. In 2006 the Louis A. Hellming Company joined Malecki Deimling Nielander and Associates.

In addition to a distinguished business career, Mr. Klinedinst remains active in the greater Cincinnati community serving on numerous Boards and Charities. He has served as Chairman of the Franciscan Health System of the Ohio Valley and the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau. Further, he has served as a director of Star Bank, Firstar Bank, Employers Resource Association. Tom currently is involved as the Chairman, the Greater Cincinnati Arts Education Center, Archbishop’s Finance Council for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, a member of the President’s Advisory Committee for Xavier University and a member of the Franciscan Friars Finance Council as well as other local charitable organizations.
